Ingredients
Scale
4 medium russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
sour cream (to taste)
shredded cheese (to taste)
chives (to taste)
any favorite garnish (to taste)
Instructions
Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
Using a fork, prick each potato a few times to allow steam to escape during cooking.
Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes and sprinkle the salt and pepper generously.
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd them. Set the temperature to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the potatoes; if it goes in easily, they’re ready.
Remove the baked potatoes from the air fryer, let them cool for a few minutes, then cut a slit on the top and fluff the insides with a fork.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or paprika to the seasoning.
Experiment with different toppings to customize your baked potatoes.
