Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Caramel Apple Cheesecake Cups, perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth. Then, add the vanilla extract and mix again.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring no lumps remain and keeping the mixture light and airy.
- Dice your apples and toss them lightly with a drizzle of caramel sauce to add flavor and keep them from browning.
- In serving cups or small jars, layer the graham cracker crumbs at the bottom. Follow with a layer of the cheesecake filling, then add the caramelized apples on top. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the cup.
- Drizzle more caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with nuts, if desired. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is soft for easy mixing.
- Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples work best for tartness.
- Chill the cups for at least an hour for best flavor.
