- 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color you like)
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas or green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the chopped cabbage and stir everything together, cooking for 4-5 minutes until the cabbage is tender but vibrant.
- Add the snap peas or green beans and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and rice vinegar, stirring well to coat all the veggies. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Cook for another minute to heat everything through and meld the flavors.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
