Description

A delicious burger topped with a fried egg and a special sauce that adds a unique flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground beef or any protein substitute
  • 2 large Eggs for frying
  • 4 pieces Burger buns, preferably toasted
  • Lettuce for crunch
  • Tomato slices for freshness
  • Cheese, optional, your favorite kind
  • Onion, sliced, for a zesty kick
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Pickles, finely chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Shape into four equal patties, making them slightly larger than the burger buns since they’ll shrink while cooking.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the mayo, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, and salt. Mix well until nice and creamy.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes. If you’re adding cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.
  4. In a separate pan, heat a little oil and crack the eggs in. Cook them sunny-side up or to your desired doneness for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Spread the special sauce on the bottom half of the buns. Place the lettuce, followed by the patty, and top with the egg, a slice of tomato, and onions. Cap it off with the top bun.
  6. Cut in half if desired, serve warm, and enjoy that delightful taste!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preference.
  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Ensure the patties are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
