  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup blackberry preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ¼ cup of granulated sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan, spreading it out to form an even layer.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes until golden, then let it cool.
  5. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the remaining granulated sugar until creamy and smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the whipped topping until combined and light.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel layer.
  8. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the blackberry preserves until they are a bit runny.
  9. Pour the warm preserves over the cream cheese layer, then scatter fresh blackberries on top.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
