- 1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in the water.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin until it is fully dissolved.
- Let the gelatin mixture cool to room temperature.
- Arrange the halved strawberries in the pre-baked pie crust.
- Pour the cooled gelatin mixture over the strawberries, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until the gelatin is set.
- Serve topped with whipped cream.
