Delicious bakery-style apple cinnamon crumb muffins that are easy to make at home.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
- 1½ cups diced apples (about 2 medium, peeled and cored)
- Crumb Topping:
- ½ cup flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon together in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the diced apples.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crumb topping ingredients until crumbs form.
- Fill muffin cups ¾ full with the batter, top with the crumb mixture, and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool briefly, then enjoy warm.
Notes
- Make sure to use peeled and cored apples for the best texture.
- These muffins are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra flavor.
