4-5 lb pork roast
1 large chopped onion
1 1/2 c water
1/2 c ketchup
1 c Heinz apple cider vinegar
1/2 c Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp mustard
4 Tbsp Domino brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp McCormick’s black pepper
Place roast in roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Stir well and pour over roast.
Cover and bake for 5-6 hours at 325 degrees.
After cooking time remove meat and chop with knife and fork.
Return to meat to sauce, discarding bone and fat. Serve on buns.
Roast can also be cooked in a slow cooker on Med-High setting for 3-4 hours, check for tenderness and turn roast halfway through cooking time. When done remove meat and chop with kinife and fork. Return to meat sauce, discard bone and fat.
Serve on buns.
