I never thought that making Balsamic Beef is so easy! I have been wanting to make balsamic beef, but I was afraid that it takes so much effort to make. I was very wrong! This Slow Cooker Balsamic Beef proves to me that I can make it with very little effort. All I need is to dump everything in my slow cooker and leave! When the cooking time is up, I just need to pull the pork apart and toss the shredded meat in the juices in the slow cooker and it’s done! I can enjoy the rich, savoury, tangy flavour of my favourite balsamic beef any time I want. You can even make this a whole meal by adding in some veggies like potatoes.
1 c. beef broth
2 lbs. beef chuck roast
4 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 c. balsamic vinegar
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
How to make Slow Cooked Balsamic Beef
Step 1: Grease your slow cooker with cooking oil. You can also wipe it with a bit of olive oil. Then, place the whole chuck roast in the middle.
Step 2: Place the beef broth, minced garlic, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir well until blended, then pour over the beef chuck roast.
Step 3: Cover your slow cooker and set to cook the roast on high for 4 hours or 6 to 8 hours on low.
Step 4: Open the slow cooker when the time is up and ensure that the meat is completely cooked. Remove from roast from the slow cooker and pull the meat apart using two forks. Return the shredded meat into the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
