Super easy, fun, and fancy enough to serve at your next bbq – this Sausage and Shrimp Kebobs are the perfect grill dinner for bust days. Prep this in fifteen minutes with only five ingredients, and these delicious kebobs are ready in under five minutes!
My favourite and go-to for a quick weeknight meal and weekend bbq, these zesty kebobs (thanks to the barbeque seasoning) will always be the crowd pick!
12 ounces smoked sausage rope
12 ounces shrimp
jumbo, tail-on, peeled and deveined
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Barbecue Seasoning
How to make Sausage and Shrimp Kabobs
Step 1: Prepare the grill. Preheat it to 350 degrees F. And ensure that the grill grates are clean.
Step 2: Into around an inch piece, slice the sausage. Or the same thickness as the shrimp.
Step 3: With paper towels, pat the shrimp dry and transfer in a bowl. Add in the sausage, olive oil, and barbecue seasoning. Then, toss to combine.
Step 4: In the “C” curve of the shrimp, tuck the slices of sausage, then thread onto the skewers.
Step 5: Place on the preheated grill and cook for about 3 minutes over medium-high heat. Turn and grill the other side until the shrimp turned opaque and cooked through.
Step 6: Once done, remove from the grill and enjoy the kabobs immediately.
Soak the wooden skewers in water before using them for at least 30 minutes. This will prevent the fire from catching when grilling.
