1 cup pumpkin puree
3 ounces cream cheese softened
1 large Egg
2/3 cup granulated sugar, divided
3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, divided
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
3 (8-ounces) tube refrigerated Crescent rolls
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 3-quart baking dish.
Step 3: Add the cream cheese, pumpkin, 1/3 cup of sugar, egg, vanilla, and 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed, then sprinkle a little amount of salt to season.
Step 4: Unroll a tube of crescent dough. To make a solid sheet, pinch it together. Repeat this process to the rest of the tubes, then slice them into 8 even squares.
Step 5: Add 1 tablespoon of the pumpkin mixture in the middle of each square. Seal the sides to make a ball. Repeat this process to the rest of the ingredients.
Step 6: Add the rest of the pumpkin pie spice and sugar into a small mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
Step 7: Brush each ball with the melted butter and toss them into the bowl with the sugar mixture. Make sure to coat each completely.
Step 8: Arrange the balls onto the prepared baking dish.
Step 9: Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow the balls to cool at room temperature.
To Make the Glaze:
Step 1: Add the milk and powdered sugar into a medium mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
