I wholeheartedly welcome this lovely Instant Pot Spaghetti into my weekly menu rotation. I am not even surprised that it turned out amazingly delicious! The first time I made this using my newly bought IP, I knew. The kids love this, and I enjoy how unfussy this recipe is.
This Instant Pot Spaghetti is such a huge hit! I make sure to serve this every week because my kids just could not get enough of this amazing and the best spaghetti.
1 tbsp olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
12 ounces spaghetti noodles
1 (24 ounces) jar marinara sauce
3 c warm water
1 14.5 ounces can dice tomatoes (undrained)
2 tbsp fresh basil (optional)
Grated parmesan cheese (optional)
How to make Instant Pot Spaghetti
Step 1: Press the “Sauté” button on the Instant Pot.
Step 2: Add olive oil and allow it to become hot.
Step 3: Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt the prepared ground beef.
Step 4: Add the ground beef into the Instant Pot and cook until brown.
Step 5: Bread the noodles and arrange them in a crisscross style on top of the meat.
Step 6: Cover the noodles with sliced tomatoes, water, and marinara sauce, then gently press the pasta down until well coated with the sauce.
Step 7: Seal the Instant Pot and cook for about 8 minutes on a high setting.
Step 8: Perform a quick release and stir everything until well mixed.
Step 9: Spoon the spaghetti on a serving plate, then garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
