An egg free golden syrup and oat cookie recipe
Golden Syrup and Oat Cookies
100g Light Brown Sugar
2 TBSP Golden Syrup
1 TSP Vanilla Extract
100g Self Raising Flour
1/2 Bicarbonate of Soda
Preheat the oven to 180°c (160° fan) and line two baking trays with baking paper.
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a bowl. Take off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Stir through the flour, oats and bicarbonate of soda and mix until combined.
Spoon heaped teaspoons onto the baking sheets, spaced well apart, and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove to a cooling rack.
