6 teaspoons water
How to make Easy Pecan Sticky Buns
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees. Using non-stick cooking spray, grease a 6-count muffin tin and set it aside.
Step 2: Individually roll each crescent roll. In half, cut 6 of them, then 2 in thirds. Set aside.
Step 3: Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar in each well of the muffin tin along with 1 tsp sugar, half tbsp butter, and around 1 tbsp pecans, evenly distributing them.
Step 4: In each tin, place the whole crescent, big side to little side. Into the middle, place the rest of the pieces.
Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the buns are golden brown and bubbly. When done, take the muffin tin from the oven and allow the buns to sit for about a minute or two.
Step 6: To serve, turn the pecan sticky buns onto a plate. Enjoy!
Feel free to use whole pecans in place of coarsely chopped.
For this recipe, you can also use canned biscuits. Just make sure to use the correct ratio of bread to the sauce.
Allow the buns to cool in the pan for not more than 1 to 2 minutes.
Easily double the recipe for a 12-count muffin tin.
