BROWN SUGAR DIJON PORK TENDERLOIN

Ingredients

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 ½ pound pork tenderloin

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

salt and pepper, to season

¼ c. brown sugar

Brown Sugar Dijon Dipping Sauce:

1 1/2 to 2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp mayonnaise

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

How to make Brown Sugar Dijon Pork Tenderloin

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F.

Step 2: Sprinkle both sides of the tenderloin with salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the pork tenderloin to the skillet once the oil is hot and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until brown. Set the pork tenderloin aside when done.

Step 4: In an oven-proof pan, place the pork tenderloin, then brush with Dijon mustard and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Step 5: Place in the preheated oven and bake the pork tenderloin for about 20 to 25 minutes, uncovered until the internal temperature of the meat reached 145 degrees F. When done, take the dish out of the oven and allow it to sit for about 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 6: Slice before serving. If desired, enjoy with the Brown Sugar Dijon dipping sauce. For the Brown Sugar Dijon dipping sauce, simply whisk the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and brown sugar until blended. Adjust the taste according to your preferred sweetness.
