Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner that won’t break your bank – Baked Garlic Paprika Chicken Drumsticks is one heck of a flavorful meal after a long busy day. A pretty easy dish made with simple pantry ingredients.
8 chicken drumsticks
1/4 c olive oil
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
pinch red pepper flakes, optional
1 tsp oregano, dried
2 tbsp parsley, freshly chopped
How to make Baked Garlic Paprika Chicken Drumsticks:
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 425 degrees F.
Step 2: Wash and pat dry the drumsticks. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Step 3: Combine the olive oil, garlic, paprika, pinch of red pepper flakes, and if using dried oregano in a small bowl. Mix to make a loose paprika garlic chicken rub.
Step 4: Rub to coat the entire drumsticks with the paprika garlic mixture. Add the coated drumsticks in a shallow 9 x 13-inch roasting pan in an alternating pattern and pour over the rest of the marinade.
Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the chicken legs are completely cooked and the juices run clear. Or an instant-read thermometer should read 165 degrees F.
Step 6: Once done, remove from the oven and serve with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Enjoy!
