The perfect make-ahead spaghetti casserole that everyone is going crazy about! I’ll be very honest, this is the best pasta, even better than what you can find in any restaurant!
12 ounces spaghetti
1 (26 ounces) jar prepared spaghetti sauce
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic minced
1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, room temperature
½ c parmesan cheese grated
HOW TO MAKE BAKED CREAM CHEESE SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE:
Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Add the ground beef in a skillet and cook until brown. Drain excess grease before stirring in the spaghetti sauce. Set aside.
Step 3: Prepare the spaghetti according to package directions. Once done, drain and transfer the cooked spaghetti in a bowl.
Step 4: Add the cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic into the bowl with the cooked spaghetti. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is completely coated.
Step 5: Add a little amount of meat sauce in the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan and spread. Add the spaghetti and top with the rest of the meat sauce. Sprinkle over the parmesan cheese.
Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Make this casserole ahead and place it in the fridge or freeze until ready to serve.
Add several minutes to the cooking time when baking after refrigerating.
When baking, completely thaw first when frozen and bake as directed.
To reheat, thaw completely after freezing and cover the dish with aluminium foil. Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees F or until heated through.
