Want a healthier treat that surely everyone will love and enjoy? These Baked Apples are filled with a nutritious mixture of oats, coconut sugar, and cinnamon. A sweet dessert that you can make in a pulse and makes your whole house smell amazing!

A great option for breakfast, dessert, or as a healthy side, this dish is always a big hit! Although, I make this only on rare occasions, making the kids miss this a lot, and everyone anticipating when I’ll be making this again. You can even bring this to potlucks, serve when you have guests coming over and impress them with how lovely these Baked Apples are. For a much sweeter variety, drizzle the stuffed apples with a homemade glaze.

Ingredients:

3 medium to large apples cut in half and cored

4 tbsp coconut oil melted

¼ c coconut sugar

3 tbsp whole wheat flour

½ c rolled oats

¼ tsp cinnamon

How to make Baked Apples:

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a baking dish, arrange the apples cut side-up.

Step 3: Add the coconut oil, coconut sugar, whole wheat flour, oats, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

Step 4: In the middle of the apple slices, evenly spoon the oat mixture.

Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.

Step 6: Once done, remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
